I realy doubt iy hey. We did see some workmanship and the end product seems excellent. I do however doubt that anyone on this forum would fork out that amount of money and buy a bus, judging by the screams about any bus over R20k

Dont get me wrong this is a fantastic looking bus !!

But yes the price, I laughed when I saw it, but a lot of work has gone into this bus, and Im sure the imported parts need to be made up for.Who know maybe someone thinks that its the money worth,Everything is done aswell, so its basically a pay&play bus not much the "buyer" can do to it to personalize it, otherwise buy a cheaper one spend the money and make it a project and your own,
The only thing I would do to this bus is lower it, the front seems to high,

I have decided not to sell.It was never the plan to restore and sell her.I just felt to sorry to use her for this, she is so perfekt. Installing my lcd tv and surround sound today. And starting the rebuild of my 2.0 air cooled engine.

Kombi.....good decision and you should use her for exactly that.....that's what they are made for! Use her, have fun, then start all over again. Mo (my bus) will be another project next year

Enjoyed this project, it's refreshing to see someone spend cash on a project and not moan like an old bitch at the thought of throwing money on a bus.

end product looks amazing

For R20k your bus will only look good in the dark when the lights are of.

For once in my life i can honestly say i`d buy that south african resto bus. Normally i wouldn`t touch an sa resto with my mates bargepole let alone mine. But the proper resto channels ahve been adhered to. first strip bus..then shot blast...then remedy work then paint then refit. I salute the restorer for doing the job properly and suggest that they add these pics to their intrenational advertising....i restore aircooleds for a livining particularly early bays and i`m convinced it was done properly. So good luck and if you want a helping hand then you know who to call...... 8)
