Re: SP Carbs
Would you want to fit it to a 1200 engine? Wouldn't it be overkill?
Would the fit a singleport and what else is needed for it to work on my engine?

More than meets the eye!

Re: SP Carbs
I wouldn't say overkill, i'd say you'd make it into a better running engine than a single carb. Obviously that heavily depends on the rest of the setup.
I'm currently having my old 1200 rebuilt and it will have twins on, only because i have them spare and it seems to annoy everyone when i say im doing it.

So you saying it can work, but then will the engine hood be able to close? Also what would the benefits be Dan?dsan wrote:I wouldn't say overkill, i'd say you'd make it into a better running engine than a single carb. Obviously that heavily depends on the rest of the setup.

Re: SP Carbs
They can work, but will have to be jetted for the 1200. You would get better fuel economy as well as better acceleration and a better top end. Thats why i called and secured them for my Lolette
or my brother can pay me off for a while and put them on his little puma

What James said. On the fitting side, I don't see why not, the carbs aren't exactly huge
