Hi

I have a 57 oval, but am not sure if the 58/59 will fit? Can you advise me please?

Also, does he have wiper blades?

@Merlin:
He has two sets of Webers.
1: MB Inlet, 36 IDF 45 A 1L (with full linkage bits, filters etc) R1500-00
2: 36 IDF 44 0B R1200-00
Image

He also has some Solex
Solex on Lolette manifold 40 P11-4 R1500-00

@sarel.wagener
See above for Webers. He doesn't have any '63 clutch bits. He also sent a load of 1200 heads/cases/cranks and bits to the scrap yard a month ago. Gutted about this.
2.0l aircooled heads, he has both the square port and round port. All need cleaning up, R100 each.
He has a shit load of 1700 type 4 cases. make him an offer

@calooker
He has more heads for 1600's than you can imagine.
Image
1300 TP R200-00
1600 TP R200-00
If he refurbs them, it's R400

@Muderik
See above for Webers
Image
He has 2 sets of 2nd-hand 92mm pistons/barrels R500-00
Casings, oh my god, he has enough of them. What serial number? What type? reinforced? bigger holes for oil flow?

@skymac
See above for heads info

@edmond
he has loads of 1600 cranks. R100-00

@1972
he has 2 sets of early doghouse fan shrouds. R100-00 each
see above for heads
1600cc oil cooler with bracket R100-00

@JamesD69
All SP carbs were thrown away.
He has SP & TP tin, R150-00 each

@bugspray
He has 4 massive crates of carbs. They need a rebuild but yours for R100 each. Buy more and get a massive discount
Image

Now he also has:

3 x type 4 1900 2.1 cranks (make him an offer)
82 stroke crank R500
Type 4 oil coolers (make him an offer)
1600 balanced cranks (make him an offer)
Image
Image
Type 4 twin carbs (make him an offer)

Cams, he has so many cams but not 100% sure what they are. Some even come in a box, but the details are a bit faded, one said Bugpack.

I also found these hidden away. 13" wheels but able to fit beetle wheels. Need refurbishing, so make him an offer

Beetle & Bus hubcaps (make him an offer)

Cases, anyone say cases?
Image

Gearboxes? (he reckons there are some 1200's in there)

Forgot to add, he really does have so much and would like to make space.

Maybe we should organise a meetup and try and help him out and also give him some cash towards the bigger bits. I reckon a weekend trip would be cool?

I know that I shouldn't be buying more parts, but I'm interested in a set of Type 4 heads and one 1700 Type 4 case...

Before I get too excited, how are we going to work shipping??
