Think I used it on the splitty during Monday and Tuesday. Pulled engine replaced mountings, 2 bananas 1 front not available but still good. Also had to replace both axle boots and the fuel hoses and some clamps. Also changed fuel filter and thrust bearing. Blue Bus went to KKK&K no problems just slow.
Some days we are the flies , some days we are the windscreens
Starting clearing out my white fasty, found a good home for her, quite sad saying good bye but I have to be practical... Hopefully have space to park my blue fasty properly and get it running. Once this white fasty is gone, my blue fasty is first priority to finish. So decided not to buy any cars or parts until I've seen this project through...
Went for Breakfast, Opened Shop, Read the Paper, Closed Shop, Came home and slept, only surfacing at 6pm
Now its 8:40 and I am bored

No worries... And congrats on being the first person to post their raffle winnings
Took Flossie for a spin around the block to the garage and back. She is still not road legal but we are in S.A. Hopefully this week the process of getting her on the Natis system will start.
I finally had the courage to put the newly aquired Craffie to work yesterday. I had to go and dump the garden rubble at the local dump. Loaded Craffie and free-wheeled down the driveway. Alomst went through the gate at the bottom of the driveway.
The damn brakes failed!!!
On the road I remembered that there are no brake lights or indicator stalk!! It was a scary 2km trip.......
I turned it around yesterday so I can work on the engine, parking is an issue. Also started on restoring the spare steering wheel from Fri night, completed it yesterday, will post pics in projects section. Due to the rain last few days I opened the front and noticed the front mats were soaking wet, where can I check for leaks in the beetle? Also note it is a ragtop, although I dont think it is leaking through the rag.
