Anyone aware of the Beetle convoy yesterday?
A friend of mine rang me yesterday at about 3:45pm in a flat spin saying there was at least 10 Beetles roaring down Hendrik Potgieter (near Clear Water Mall) in convoy and asked where the hell I was. Anyone attend or know what it was about? Apparently the cars were causing quite a stir...

yeah would love to join in. friends of mine had a vw convoy the other day. it looked so nice. think a beetle one would be legend

Hi guys
Its been a while since I last
posted anything on the forum.
The beetles that were at Clear Waters Mall was
Me and FSF and fellow Soweto Club Members.
We went to visit a friend who has just bought his
first aircoooledvw machine. He lives behind the Virgin Active,
a minute's drive from there.
He lives with German neighbours who wanted to see the beetles
as they never saw much in that Complex.
I'm trying to find some pics of the convoy.
It was a fun & suprise convoy.
The Next suprise convoy is to.....................

sometime last yr i went to the soweto beetle club and it was dope. the convoy was from pimville in zone 3 and we went around and into maponya mall and it was a beautiful sight indeed. thats where i saw my first bug. will look for the pics and post them.
