Got Flossie registered licensed and fitted the new number plates. Yes she is now legal on the road. Did my Neighbourhood Watch rounds in her last night and she is running just fine

Still couldn't get it started! Battery is now dood.

Checked and tightned the fuel lines, need to replace one, painted the gear and hand brake levers in a gloss black. Pulled out the battery and gonna swop it out with one of the other cars to charge up.

Me and my dad took out the door pin on the left hand side and added a mirror to the left hand side. Now reversing is much easier. :D. Changed the fan belt to another one as the one I have on is a original VW one that I will save for a rainy day. We also sorted out the back lights some wires was mixed up.

I got the weld across the roofline filled and sanded smooth. I gave it a lick of red oxide to keep the moisture away until winter. (If it ever stops raining...)

It looks a bit lumpy but that's just the paint, the filler is lovely. :D

The spray job on the '59 wasn't up to scratch (for me that is), so after some numerous choice words, some good old cockney slang thrown in to the cousin down here, it was agreed upon that it would be sanded back down and redone.

Just went to check the final polish and it's 100% better. No camera with me but will take proper images tomorrow.

called up the previous owner (two owners before me) for the bugz reg. papers. luck must have been on my side for a change coz he found it, but did not have my number to let me know. i now have the bugz reg. papers in my possesion. "possesion is 9/10 ownership" me thinks
he never transfered the car onto his name aswell as the guy who he sold it to. i am now the third person later who owns this car and its still on the original owners name nad ten years of arears.

does this mean that its as simple as just transfering the car onto my name and pay the R70 reg.fee or am i still liable for the arears and penalties of only five years
