For reference, few of the 'name' builders are decent.
EG: Vee Motors, Beetle Buddies, Remtech, etc. are NOT a good idea.

You should really look into those R3000 rebuilds I helped an older gentleman rebuild his engine and we spent R4500 on machining and parts I donated the labour. I olso get a lot of my parts at dealer prices so You pay R3000 and dont cry if it doesnt last. Used main bearings, oil pumps worn cylinders used pushrod tubes used cam bearings cracked heads etc etc. I can go on But that is me If you can live with constant frustration and aggrevation go cheap.
