I have just started on my 68 split bus and it is at the stage when you started.....i still have a long way to go......Hope to see it soon. :D

Thanks for all the good words.
Got the bus today. Struggle to get it started, not alot of fuel in the tank. Lucky there was a reserve tank.drive it back home via the garage. Started to clean it again on the inside. Struggle with the electrics, checked the daigrams on the forum and will fix the wiring tomorrow. Strange how thing dont work if they stand for a long time. loose a few bolts (3)that I need to secure the steering colum. Should make a shopping list to get everything and not forget something.
