How can I take you seriously if you cant present something thats to scale.

No dimmers on flourescent lights remember, so you'll need a nice switch bank.

Oh and the Florescents are electronic ballast versions, and can be made dim-able.... Not doing that tho, only 5 switches :(

Multitasking, the roofchop work starts in 2 weeks time, its booked. Waiting for the hydraulic pedals and Air ride suspension to arrive, then the rotisserie to build. By the time the chop starts the workshop will be ready. Then the mods on the pan will start, Air ride go in and all the stuff on the pan moved and changed. I hate idling and not doing something

This is all just prepwork, and for fun to keep me busy until the real graft starts  Finished the design of the new dash for the project, the new air inlets, the badges to go on there, the instrument layout etc. Still the wiring design to complete, send all the switches out for laser engraving and lots and lots more.

So budget wise looking at about R80k.
Hows this working out for you?

Tony, painful.... As I said on page 9 here, the budget was revised, upwards admittedly, so on the project itself, quite ok. It's going to go over even the revised budget, but not by much. The R 80k is now about spent.

It may look like a lot of spending, and yes it may be, but its broadly withing what I was expecting it to be. If you want only genuine German rubber, you gotta pay for em. This is why I plan a lot, call me Sir Plannalot :jerkoff:

The workshop/carport thing is eating me, not to even start on the new tools and workbenches, trolleys and other stuff. Designing the trolleys and other portable work surfaces as we speak. Still to get is a Mill, TIG for welding the heads, Flowbench, all the head & valve tools to do the seats, valves and porting stuff.
