On the left-hand sliding door: filling and sanding, filling and sanding...hard work. But they say that lots of thin layers are better and stronger than one thick one. So I have done four layers this week, one every day after work. Hopefully tonight's should be the last layer of body-filler and I can sand it to a final finish tomorrow. I'll post before, during and after pics when I'm done.

Helped a friend with his beach buggy. Put in new push-rod tubes and replaced a cylinder head. Re-did the valve gaps on both heads.

Visited Dave's shop and got a few odds and end for Christn.

Fitted Eyelids. Oh so awesome I love the look.

Fitted overkill of speakers and a Stealth Mp3 deck. Painte the rear view mirror arm gloss black.painted the hand straps black to go with the interior. Fitted a tube to the spare tyre. Drove around with out hassles, finally getting confident driving him around without fear of breaking.

Went down to the beach lastnight, turned some heads. I Love it. Hahaaha. Easily kept up with a polo. Was chuffed when I hit 110km true speed lol.

You get those heaters sorted, you'll be a-for-away. I remember driving up the nico malan pass in the eastern cape one year surrounded by snow, with the heaters on full. I shifted my leg and the jeans that were just next to the heater vent nearly took the skin off the were so hot - maybe something to do with several k's of driving up a steep hill to get the engine heat up. I was always roasty toasty in my dub, and my rebuild will have full functioning heaters no matter what...

Looking for a splitscreen panelvan - have a year or two to find one. If you know of one, please let me know.

Handed Christn's heater boxes and exhaust in to have flanges welded on.
