Believing your car can speak is just one tiny, tiny step further than believing it can hear you and understand you, thus:YvaneS wrote:Why in hell are you guys pretending that the car can talk?

A few minutes later, proving they have feelings too: "Don't tell me I gotta get the jumpers out, you old cow."
In the bottom of a drift while she's running on 2 cylinders: "Come on darling, you know you can do it!" (She did...)
"F-YOU, you... you... God-damn, you... you... you drive me insane," sucking your bleeding knuckles while looking for the shifting spanner you chucked into the neighbour's flower bed. (Serves you right for using one...
"Och, you beautiful girl, you, I love you," when cresting Sir lowry's Pass in your 1956 bus...

Re: Welcome to Ron & Gill's "PROJECT NOTCH"
I love my car as much as anyone on this site... but i just find it stupid when someone says "her" or "she" when talking about their car.
Look all i'm saying is that unless you drive an anthropomorphic 60's ragtop beetle, you cant talk to or like that when talking about your car

While inanimate on their own, my cars are all anthropomorphic. Just because you can't experience it, doesn't mean it's not true. And they are all female simply because "If it's got tits or wheels, it'll give you trouble."YvaneS wrote:I love my car as much as anyone on this site... but i just find it stupid when someone says "her" or "she" when talking about their car.

Don't worry, bootlid sorted last week

Sure Wreck Rescue wouldn't mind if I gave HER a nice boot(y) like that though.
