I finally got a second selecta drop, :D (Thanks Calooker)!!!!

Ready to start the conversion but,
Question:
I would like to know if I must cut off the bump stop or not, please advise ? :? :zhelp:

Cut it off. It just gets in the way once its been lowwered.

or do it right... cut it off and weld it back in place where it would work. If it wasnt needed VW wouldnt have put it there. You just need to move it to where its needed now

Cleaning, de-greasing, primer & spray painting. Hopefully this will all be done by the end of the week.

well done on the project so far. what paint did u use on the chasis and r u replacing the rubber matting that u removed from the chasis

Thanks, I used an Apu 106 anti corrosive primer with black 2k paint on the chasis.
Yes I will be replacing the matting with some sound barrier material.
