Guys,

VW411 two door automatic


The first time I can claim a barn find.
He bought it out of an old ladys estate cleaned it up and resprayed it
Original tyres , 38000 original kms, full service record
Engin is clean upholstary original no damage door clip close like only a 411 could. Pine you know the feeling.
Price R35000.oo John tel 0833265301
Car have been standing for 20 years and lost its registration.
He will do the re registration and roadworthy for you --Not code 3—

Not to be nasty or anything , but would love to see who's going to pay R35k for a Type 4, regardless of its condition :wink:

Agree with the price issue but must say you get a lot of car for that price. Just felt sorry for him when he agreed to re register it.

Looks nice - nice interior - dont know about the price though - if it was a a wagon then maybe :D

I posted a 411 similar to the Sedgefield car a year ago for R4.5k; no interest on these forums.

I don't know anything about Type 4s, but the upholstery in the R35k two-door does not look original to me. Since it's been resprayed and apparently reupholstered I would doubt the 38k km on the odo; more likely 138k or even 238k.

It's a nice looking car, but I wouldn't believe it's original without a detailed check of the car to confirm.

My father had a 411 exactly like that 35k one, exact same colour interior too. I believe the interior is original, the vinyl looks the same as I remember it and also the same as used on the Golf 1s. My dad's one he bought in 72, but it was a manual. My dad still rates that car very high.
