Hahaha! Me too! I didn't see it either.

Thanks for the kind words volks. I had no idea what I was letting myself in for, never having seen this programme and having no brief to speak of from the producers. And then they wanted me to give a view on the new Jetta and Hyundai.

But it was a bit of fun: although buses are more my thing I was the only panel member who has actually owned a Beetle. Stuart Johnston only ever owned Ghias, and we discovered that Marius the presenter and the other Stuart on the panel had never owned ACVWs, they're both from the CitiGolf generation.

Great show by The Fig

Very much the banker on the night, hey ! - A new fig/ :D

Stuarts broken piston story?---- Petrolhead fishing story I think :D

Mind you I know personally of an 1100 bug that drove from Cradock to Jhb on two cylinders with the other two having pulled head studs

I also once heard of a lister pomp enjin that was fed by a 44 gallon drum that had broken its mounts and lay running on its side untill the drum of diesel was finished --------

Hahaha! You noticed! I took time out of my working day to do the show, hence the corporate attire.
