I bought a 58 see under My March 58 thread I will be needing some spares for it like for example rear lights, fuel reserve tap etc.

Guys, what do I know which suspension I have? I want/exploring refurbing my front play. Stax of it compared to a mates (no, not that type of mate Vader!!!) bug.

These will fit a 58 beetle but not any bus, the last time I checked on a price for a 64-67 bus incl fleetline ..........

RUI , if theres play on the kingpin can you add grease in the nippel? or wont it solve the play issue? wouldnt it be easyer to replace the split suspention with a bay ones that uses balljoints?

so sorry for the jack. got back from the roadworthy guys last week and they mentioned something about replacing king and link pins.
would this be what you are selling and just add labour or is there more that i need :oops:

**edit**Farhaad you will just need the k&l pins and then just have to speak to (forgot name of guy in CPT that does work on acvw's) and he should be able to do all the reaming for the bushings.

Rui would you be able to import a reamer for this and at what price?

Just get a recon set of stub axles with new king and link pins installed from Volksie World, I went down this route about 3 years ago, I think the cost was R650 plus returning the old spindles

R650 is a bargain, I can bet you will not get it done for twice that now.
