The bug came with adjustable suspension, and the car had been very well looked after, .. not one bit of rust. Ive been fixing / changing and adding stuff like... brakes, shocks, roll cage, aerial, exhaust, fitted some pimping Iron cross mirrors aswell .. lol :) . Once the roll cage is complete i'll strip the bug and do a complete respray.. staying silver, but adding a bit of flavour.

Bits accrued thus far for rebuild : Dellorto 36 DRLA's, Big Bore Kit, Large Sump, magnetic sump plug

Still need - mild cam, T shifter, guages, new cylinder heads , external oil filter and a plan for the carbs air filters ( anyone got any of these bits for me plz shout? )

.. love this thing...

Never seen that buggy in Cape Town.

I thought I was the only one with dropped suspension. Well I am now. :D

Thanks guys..

The Baked bean.. it didnt have a KW number worth boasting about, but it had nice power delivery. An S2000 honda couldnt get away from me through some fast twistys along Umhlanga ridge, infact i had to let off not to hit him :) I have the SnS article scanned in at home, i'll post it tonight.
