Slammed Country Buggy replica

Post by Pine »

This had to happen some time, and a guy on TheSamba has started with a slammed replica of a Country Buggy.. these are the first pics of the mockup body :hangloose:

For those wondering, this is what an original Country Buggy looks like, they were built by VW in relatively small production numbers in Australia and the Phillipines where it was called the Sakbayan

Hmmmmm.......... Plywood.

Nice, angular lines......

I presume you drive this with a full body armour suit. Although, as Pine's history shows us, open topped cars make for a quick exit during a pile-up and are therefore quite safe. :D

Nice simple buggy - do ya think any are in SA -

Pine do you have anything on the Iltis - one drove past me the other day and didn't have time to get the camera out, never seen one before then now I've seen two others. :D

:(

Hello Pine,

Hope you are well....I took a sad decision,

I want to sell my complete fasty body, and do have an engine too, some plates and parts short (complete sub).

R3000.00 for all.

Do have some papers for body, got the engine from my Dad but he passed in 2004, can't find any papers on engine.
