Progress on Smelly pics added

Post by splitfan »

Hi
As you might have heard "Smelly Pete's" gettin a bit of a revamp and i must admit the old fellow is starting to grow on me.... The plan was/is to drive him to Ferdi's this weekend and im happy to report that it looks like its gonna happen,
He's wearing hes new Brm's and now sports a 4incher with adjusters and a set of "local" safari's , sadly the "redline" wheeltrim has not arrived yet and still have to put the motor and fuel tank back so not gonna worry about the roofrack now either.
There are no pics as yet so come and say hi at Ferdi's !

Im not an expert so il ask...what was it and what did you turn it into?
it looks like its gonna be hectic.

our taste in style seems to be similar...i like tidy neat cars that make people look a million times... and i love how you mounted your guages...

I take offence. As a bm driver, I'm not snotty and the bm being a diesel, I don't get scared either.

The motor has cost ...well quite allot lets just say we have not had as many movie nights and dinners as my wife would have liked.
The car has disc's fitted front and rear and a camber compensater and duel master cylinder the box has poly mounts and a brace kit gearbox is a "build" unit with short axels.
