Hloni,

Any part of the running boards in particular you would like a photo of?

Cheers, Nic

OK, let me know.

No idea. I don't really post a lot of items.

Where's it going to? I'll get a rough quote then from my local postal agent.

Now on my 15" screen, and still I am a tad lost.
Do these running boards come with a strip on the side (is this the 10mm ally trim you mention?) such as the chrome which the OG has, and do they have the black 'rubber' laid on the top or do I still have to source that and stick 'em on?

I kinda have 3 options for delivery/postage. 1. Vorna Valley, Midrand, 2. Harrismith 3. Pietermaritzburg.

Thanx for your patience bru!!

Hey Hloni,

The Mosaic text-only browser came out in about 1991. Since then web browsers have come very far. They even show images! :o http://www.getfirefox.com is a pretty good one. ;)

Only razzing you bud'.

Can you not see the photo at all? Is it just small? Not clear?

They are complete and assembled in their boxes, with the rubber mat and an aluminium trim strip. The trim is not the same as the originals.

Unbolt your old ones and bolt on these ones.

Vorna Valley is not too far from me. I will be temporarily living in that area from the 10th of September, or I will be able to get them to the PMB area in October (dates TBC). If you need them sooner, I can also make a plan then.

Which suits you?

Cheers, Nic

Nah, pic is as you see your end, but just that I not see the detail I be looking for. Kinda would be cool to see the 'side-view' out the box, cos the pic really shows me the box :TIC:

I will see if I can take another more detailed photo tonight, without damaging the packaging.

Thomas' friend dropped me a line last night, so really, it's a case of drops the dosh first. :)

I did however discover a rather blinding error on my part last night.

I took the boards out of their packaging to take photos for Hloni and discovered that they are in fact not new.

I had a couple of running boards sitting in the garage not to long ago and I can only assume that the error was made when all of these were moving around.

That said, they're not bad. The metal is fine short of a little surface rust. The rubber mats appear to be perfect. The ally strips have some scuff marks.

If I get a chance this evening I'll give them a good clean and rub some metal polish down the ally strips, before taking some more photos.

I'll happily edit the price accordingly once I have a better idea of their clean condition.

Already spoken to Thomas' friend and PM'ed Hloni, so apologies to anyone else interested for my oversight.

Cheers, Nic
