the forum can only handle a limited amount of data traffic each month. More than that, Eben has to pay for...
Hosting pic on this site increases the amount of data on the site. Each time someone loads that picture, it adds to the amount of bandwidth passing thru the site - bringing us closer to our monthly limit.

If you host the pics on another site and link in using the {img} icon, the pic will be seen to all, but the bandwidth used by our site will only be the size of the link, not the size of the pic. Which is why many of the older forum members use photobucket and the likes - because this isnt something new, we just need everyone to play along too

Solutions:

1. Host the seatcover section on a completely different server?
2. Point the seatcover section to completely different forum?
3. Turn the seatcover section into a list of links to porn sites?

4. Allow only links to pictures to be posted. I.e. Use services like photobucket, or your private web server to host the image and post links here.
