Does your car overheat in normal town driving?if not you should be fine, like i said make a day of it drive the speed your bug wants to and just chill and take in the scenary... Its not a bad road odd truck and stop and go road works but drive standerton heidelberg as the standerton leandra road is just one big pothole with bits of road...

Ok long time since anything has happend on this bug in fact it just got worse bug has been standing for over a year now since it seized the motor, life got in the way but is getting on track again...so the bug needs a rebuild cos it was breaking my heart just standing there rotting away...so now we get to the reason for the subject change...we all know beetles come from wolfsburgh but subarus are made in ota,japan....so yes my beetle "poegie" is getting a jap transplant

will be getting a ej20 non turbo (which range between 110kw(ej20d) -140kw(ej204) and some have acvs, subaru's own type of v-tec system, don't know what i'm getting as im picking up the motor later this week),will be running spitronics management.and willbe servicing the motor and changing the cambelt *R1200 for the belt, ooouuccchhh*

I will be getting the adapter kit and disk brake kit tommorow, and relative mounts for to stiffen up the rear (thanks bugger :drunks: :hangloose: )
will be using a 215mm flywheel and clucth setup so no need to change starters and clearance bell housings ect.

Bought a set of bbs le mans replicas that are silver now but will be made to have black centres.

had some velocity r max 205-40-17R rubber pulled over them

will probably be going for a german look with these as i have always love them :deflag: :deflag: :deflag:
"test fitted" them to my dads bugs to get a idea af how they will look,as my bug wasn't home yet.

got the bug home and started removing the tank and cut off the rear valance

thats how far i am now will update a soon as the motor comes and things start rolling... :hangloose:
