Andrew, thanks again for the lead on this car. I really owe you one!

:D An absolute pleasure to have passed on the info (after a bit of digging  ) and I'm really very :D that Nelly has a new lease on life now and now belongs to you. Will have to keep our eyes open for a rear window now......

Enjoy Nelly and perhaps one day we could get together and go for a spin in Nelly....

We gave her a wash and the original roof paint is actually shining.

Cleaned up the interior a bit further and you guys were correct. The door switch prevents the front seat from being flipped forward if the door is closed.

The SYncro is taking up my time at the moment, so when that is finished (around the weekend) I'll carry on with the notch. I need to remove the fenders to get into all the little nooks to get rid of these damned pine needles! The cabrio is also giving me some angry looks everytime I do something on the nocth. I really need to spend some time on that car and get her finished.

hi if you dont get any papers from the owner then take reg.number +vin number and check if car was perhaps scrap otherwise you may sit with a lot of penalties if its still on the system. oh yes did you check for police clearance seeing that the seller could not produce the papers before you spent any money on vehicle goodluck.
