1976 vw beetle 1600S

Post by Blackvolla »

Hi guys

Here is some pics of my beetle that i bought 3 months back. Shes got 2 x 40 IDF webers. The previous owner pu a bigger cam (actually don't know what everything he did). She needed some work.

I'm busy puting disck brakes all round. Just battling to get the nut of the rear wheals loose (hell im still battling). Also putting new 17" magwheels.

I've added the GT 2 tip style exhaust. Sounds really nice. Later i'll put a better exhaust on.

will add more pics later.

Nice bug! :D

Remember that those rear wheel nuts are torqued a lot. And one side is left hand thread, the other right hand....so 'lefty loosy' does not work

Hi Guys

thanks for the reply... yes they always look nice in black, but i'll tell you. Black scratch so fast.

Do you perhaps know to whom i can take it to lower it?

Theres quite a few places across South africa to take it to to get lowered, but if you supply your location we can narrow it down to just about your feont door
