Replaced 1/4 light window this evening as the plastic knob on my one was broken. I had to switch the frames and glass as the one with the unbroken knob had some sort of light tint in the glass, it came from a 1979 executive bus and it is marked anti-sun on the glass. I see my clear glass does not have this stamp. All the windows that I have from this 1979 executive bus have a tint, and it's not a stick on film. Anybody seen or heard of this before?

Here is the broken knob off my bus.

After good 1/4 light window installed.

Finally stopped gardening for long enough to get a bit of bus work done. I've tidied up the welded up sliding door on the left:

...and I've done some more sandpapering and flatting on the front. I've just blathered some red oxide over the whole lot as the rain is killing me. Still got a lot of high spots and dips to sort out but at least it's starting to resemble a bay-window front again.

Replaced my oil-filled coil late last night, cranked it and it ignited at the 2nd swing! Somehow my bug is chowing the coils, not sure why
This morning drove down to Eston and back - lekker cool drive down, but coming back it seems like the engine is running a tad hot once again, although I have a tennis ball

Did a bit of work over the w/end :D

- Replaced brake master cylinder
- Serviced Carb
- Replaced Points and condenser
- Replaced front wheel bearings.
- Oil change
- new spark plugs
- new dizzy cap
- new plug leads

Now anyone know of a place I can get some bits Sandblasted around centurion... Tried Ridge Powder Coating but the guy wanted R120 per wheel .... Was a bit steep.

After unsuccessfully trying to source a exhaust for my bus from Volkspares 3 times(every time I was told 2-3 weeks and it is here) I decided to talk to my dad end he donated an empi(He thinks it is one but not sure) performance exhaust from his spares. I fitted that the weekend will take pics tonight. Must say the bus is now running like a bomb and sounding sweet. And did the following as well.

-Changed oil
-Adjusted Brakes
-Adjusted Handbrake
-Adjusted Clutch
-Adjusted Tappets
-Fitted new points and condenser
-New spark plugs
-Adjusted Timing
-Greased the nipples

Now Flossie is in tip top condition.

Hi Coop

My hand are still full of the :bn: but it is working like a bomb. Drove to work this morning and engine bay is much cooler. You must hear my bus now it sound great will pop in this weekend some time.

Replaced the fuel line on Ruby the bay - relocating the filter out of the engine bay - yummy job working underneath with fuel. :D
