Thank you brother Follow the link in my signature for the blog The beam is tripple chrome plated 4" narrowed specially build from DOM tubing and specific for my Air Ride suspension.

Not ACVW, but still a big score in my book.

I recently bought a Dremel 4000-1/45 and have been enjoying it quite a lot for the past month. So much so, that I considered buying the Dremel 300 as a nice to have stand by.
At R1400 for a new Dremel 4000-1/45, and R600 for a Dremel 300. I decided to rather let it be.

This afternoon though, I stepped out for lunch and, on a complete whim, walked into the local Cash Crusaders. Lo and behold, there was a brand new, un-opened Dremel 4000-1/45 on sale for R695.00
Needless to say, I now have two of them . The sales guy was rather supprised when I bought it without even trying to haggle on the pirce.

If you don't own a Dremel, I can highly recomend them. They are incredibly handy tools for use on everything, from engraving on glass, to cutting away rust on a car.

Was given this today. Now how does it work????

there should be a simple round bar with that gadget that is stored in the shaft. if you dont have it, like i said its a simple round bar. the square part fits into the square tube under the runner boards and then using the round bar u jack the car up. hope that makes sense

its amazing what electro plating can do to that jack

Understandable Far Hard but why are there 2 points to put the round bar "pump handle"

I am going to try and get photo's tomorrow, and a list of available sizes.

I found a little textiles store who managed to buy a bale of old audi/vw factory dustcoats/trousers.

They are khaki in color, with either vw or audi logo on the chest.

Anybody interrested? PM if I can organise some for you guys, I am going to puchase 2 for me if they have my size..... they really neat and it blends with my car's paintjob.

Sorry for the Edit. There were some Daimler/Mercedes coats as well previously. If anyone is interrested in those.

I whent to see a dude about some bicycle parts, and the dude had this thing hanging in the trusses in his garage. An original beetle Stirling Roof rack with all the bits still attached slats are perfect. Will need some spit & polish but it's all there. His comment... "It was hanging there when I bought the house, what is it?"
I was back there that aftenoon with a long ladder.
