just in case you are thinking that i am being greedy buying so many buses...let me explain my idea :
(my wife by the way thinks that im crazy, but she loves me so much she overlooks my disorders !hahaha)
i intend restoring and turning them into campers..then hire them out to tourists to travel the Addo ellephant park, jeffereys bay and the Garden route in a vintage bus !! whether it will work remains to be seen but being in PE is central on the coast so it may be seasonal but it may also work !?
some thoughts on this will be great..........

That 58 Ragtop, aint she sweet. Good idea on the tours, I am pretty sure once word gets round you could be onto something. Good marketing and even better insurance would be key... Good luck with the projects
Congratulations! It's very unusual for Craig to actually sell anything. I bought The Ratmobile from him back in January 1993. He has lived on that farm since 1974 and has been collecting scrap VWs on it ever since; I first met him in the 1980s, when his collection was at its best. Unfortunately a few veld fires and scrap metal thieves caused a lot of damage. At one stage he had three Karmann Ghias and five oval windows in one of his sheds.
It's sad to see how that 58 camper has deteriorated since it arrived there. I'm glad someone can give it the TLC it deserves. It's a very interesting bus; I hope you can find out more about who built it.
I think a vintage VW camper hire may go down very well in the southern Cape.
