You'd be surprised at the number of Beetles alive in well in Kabul. Sadly, there are as many falling to pieces. I have personally seen a row of seven parked out at some training ground, doors open, wheels gone. Being used for sniffer dog training ... Three of these were 1303's!!

So where about is Archie then ?? I need him to come to centurion, so that i can fit his roofrack. Fig's not making them, but i am. I started with a miniature version as a trial, and would look great on Archie.........
Any ideas??
Teach your children to love aircooled VW's. That way they will never have money for drugs.

Only if he wants to.

I'm sure there is lot more to see out there and I can wait patiently.I will most likely see him at the George MOtor Show anyway.

Yes, conflicting schedules meant Archie missed his trip to the pyramids. But he hasn't been hiding away.

Yesterday he joined me on an impromptu bus road trip to Cape Town (more about that elsewhere). As soon as we are back in Jhb flying back tonight) then he'll be packing his bags for Switzerland! :hangloose:

After accompanying me on my epic one-day bus trip to Cape Town, Archie joined Monique, Tony's other half, at CTN airport, ready for his skiing trip to Switzerland. Pic by jolas:
