I have been lucky to find a Speedster rep that a mates of mine s dad built.It has been standing for
years. Needs a bit of work but really happy.Most of the stuff was new before parked.They parked
it because it kepted jumping out of 1st. i have been told this could be from a linkage set up .
As the beetle frame was shortend. Also i dont want to strip the motor or remove it. I have been told
to take plugs out drain oil remove filter .then turn motor buy hand to clean bore.
Then put oil and lube motor well then clean old plugs fuel and new oil and only then try starting it.
What are you thoughts on this? also the boots on gear box look like they have let oil out. is it a plan
to drain oil in gear box and put new as well? Last and final Question . Its hard to move like the brakes
have bound , any plans for this?
