And I feel like singing it!!
Thanks to everybody for advice. After to long phone calls to Sean (thank you Sean), watching a you tube video and consulting my Autobook for the VW Transporter, I chucked the electronics out and reverted to points and condenser. What should have been easy was is not for the “ECHLIN” Points. The wire on the points side was fitted into the brass clip, without it being stripped of the black plastic which means no spark. Fortunately for me a friend (he has an enjin importing business) was visiting. He had a look at it and found the problem. So now my bus is back on the road again and in my toolbox is a spare set of plugs, condenser and points !!!!!!!!!

Ja ECHLIN products stink! Always keep your old working set in the glove box!

Sambas in South Africa are good for only 2 things: showing off and sunburn.
