Greetings from Italy - VW 1600 S picture needed.

Dear all,
I am the vice-president of Maggiolino Käfer Club Italia (http://www.maggiolino.it - 'maggiolino' is the italian nick-name used for VW beetle).
First of all I'd like to say 'hello to everyone of you out there!!!
I'd like to write an article for my club magazine (more than 900 subscribers in our country!!) about your unique and strange 1600 S beetle/super beetle. I found in manuals section the original article written bye Car's magazine in July 1975 that speaks about the blend made by VWSA from local 1600-L and european 1303.

So I ask you if you can send me some pictures about this particolar model to publish in our magazine. IE front ,rear, dashboard 3/4 view etc. I'd like to receive picture from owners who kept that car in original conditions just to underline the particular aspects of this unique model. The scanned magazine found here helped me a lot to sample all tecnical data but I want your personal foto to create a good reportage. Infact there in S.A. there are the only torsion bar beetles with curved 1303 windshield!!!!

I promise that for all you guys that are will send me at least one picture I will send the copy of our magazine (in Italian) as a personal gift once we publish them: so don't forget to add your address for my reply!!!!

Yes I do!! I mean I don't think scanning some official press foto on 70ies is gonna be a problem: it's for our subscriber magazine and we don't earn any money. All the material would be appreciated!!!
