Sorry it took so long, none of the spares shops I went to had stock, have 10 globes for you, they charged R30 for the lot.
PM me your postal address dude. If you live in the Cape, Sondae Motor Spares in Stellenbosch has stock, and if they don't have, they will actually order for you - unlike some of the chain stores (that is 12v dashboard globes)

Thank You sooooo much!!!! The rest of the stuff I need. I want to be new so it wont involve to much begging people for parts from now on. I think I may have found a fan shroud ( from my bug if he can find one at the scrap yard up there) other wise I will cut out the rust on my one and send it in to get welded up.

Thanks guys :hangloose: :hangloose:

Hi junior.

Man you inspire me! I have 2 fan shrouds at home, one is for a 1600 kombi engine. I think the other is for a beetle motor. I'll take a pic and sent it to you over the weekend. Hope your parts arrived in one piece??

Hi Junior, do you know anyone who is going to the George Motor Show? I could hand over the globes there, I have a feeling they might get damaged in the post ...............

I will be in East London on Wed and PE on Thursday - could perhaps assist by dropping off somehwere. I normally visit my folks in Grahamstown on these trips but not sure this time. My nephew will be leaving for Rhodes on the weekend so could ask him....

Hey guys I have half term till Monday so I'm home for a few days. I now have 5 rims so thats one thing sorted. I also have 4 new tiers which Is a bit of a problem cause I need to go and buy another one when I have enough money. They are 185/65/15 which is exactly what I wanted. The only real big problem is that my back wheels stick out a hell of a lot because of the disk brakes and the fact that its a 70s floor pan with a pre 66 body. Here are some pics

Front Wheel

The deck lid rust :( Should I replace it? are they really hard to find?
