Re: 66 Fasty (With lots of secrets....) - SOLD
My wife made me do it... ..
I have been eyeing a type 3 fastback as a better option (for me) than an old bug, in terms of usability. Just smoother and faster. After looking at this one, I really didn't want to miss out on such a clean car. After driving home with the wife last night - she drove half the way - she couldn't believe how smooth the drive was (I have been conditioning her with the bus ride!), so now the fasty is 'hers'... she has even insisted on paying for it.
Plan is to use at weekends, tidy up some excess electrics, get the sprintstars on that I have hoarded for 3 years.... As it turns out I have a full set of 6v electrics my brother was given, including type 3 gauges, bulb, starter, genny and reg.. clearly it was meant to be.
