Just before George, I finally started on the ACVW inspired clothing line I had been toying with for some time. With just 4 days before George, I managed to twist the arm, (not for real) of the lady that does embroidery for me, and finished a sample range in 2 designs, comprising 6 sizes which include S, M, L, XL, XXL, and XXXL.
T Shirts are all 170 grams quality.
I also made a small run of good quality baseball hats, one size fits all, with metal clasp at the back to adjust the size, as well as 4 metal eyelets to cool down your warm noggin.
I decided to keep the quality as high as possible, while still trying to keep it affordable. The T shirts at present come in 2 colours, namely white lettering on black (shift pattern shirt) and 'VW" turquoise on classic white (Eat Sleep VW). I chose the embroidery even though its slightly pricier to do, as it lasts longer than screen printing, and is longer wearing, as well as the fact that you can iron over the embroidery... how often has you favourite T shirt fallen fowl to a hot iron?
I showed it off in George and took quite a few orders that I will be posting soon to those who were interested over the George Weekend. I also sold quite a few Hats. Luckily the blazing sun provided that extra incentive for show goers to get one.
The T shirts are on sale for R120 each, regardless of size
The baseball hats are R80 each.
I can post anywhere in SA at your cost for a couple of Rands im sure via the Post Office. Please afford me 10 days lead time as Im in the process of having more T shirts made up at present, and will be adding a few new designs on a monthly basis.
PS: Attached pics are exact likenesses of what I have, only mine are all embroidered and better quality.
