5X205 PCD R16 Steelie - Pics Added
Just been to a mate's house and stumbled across something rather unique.
A bug which I got from a forum member last year had a 16' rim, 205 pcd.
Any idea what this would have been from?
Rim is looking for a home by the way. We do need 2 standard steelies too.

So are you asking what rim could be a 16'' 205pcd?? And is it a set of 4 or just 1?

More than meets the eye!

The very, very early buses had 16" rims, like the T2 type 1a barn door. I would research this a little before selling it to a scrap merchant. It might be worth a lot more than you think.

Does it look like this? Do you see a date on the inside of the rim?

Early busses and split window window beetles had '16 inch wheels

So I went over to me mates house, again, and got some pics. So here they be:

I couldn't see a vw badge on it as it has had a few coats, but they had clips (broken as they may be - trust you can see them).
Now, there is 1st dib to the ambulance man who sent me a pm
, if he doesn't want it, then it will go to whoever might find it uselful.
This rim is in Harrismith, FS, so you'd have to come here and pick-up and hopefully bring 2 steelies along

Definitely not VW.
Try European Ford - my guess.

Some Opels in the 1940s had 5x205 rims in 16in, but this one looks different. It's unlikely to be a VW rim as the VW 16in rims look more like Beetle rims, with no slots. It's probablyt for another European car.

Not sure if I'm right but did the Porsche 550 not have 16" wheels?
