I got given a seized Type 4 engine from an Autovilla for a few Rands. The engine is totally seized and doesn't turn over, I have a nasty feeling that it's spun a main. Probably lead a hard life so not too hopeful on it being rebuildable
However all the tinwear is intact, shroud and alternator is there
It has SF CJ stamped on it, so it's probably a 2.0, rebuilt at some point.
Anyone interested in parts off it?? I'm only taking the 1700 flywheel and clutch that's on it, the timing scale and carbs.
Will collect it in the morning from the scrap metal yard and snap a few pics...
