Hi all,
Tony reminded me of this post I made long ago:

I would say with upgraded brakes if you up your engine output, this is a VERY sensible thing to do.
It could help prevent your ACVW turn into a fireball if you ever have an accident.

Re: Safety Relay for cars converted to electric fuel pump
Dont even bother looking for that exact relay, i tried everywhere, its not really available in south africa any more. not even bosch keep it in stock and its more than R1500 to bring one in. I tried scrap yards and parts shops. there are other fuel pump relays and other ways of doing it though...

I don't know maybe you are right
. I never tried to buy one but I know that splitfan could get some generic version last time I asked.

Re: Safety Relay for cars converted to electric fuel pump
Then again, you might be right
mine might have had 1 extra small pin for the air flow meter
but i did try goldwagen for the one i needed and no luck. had to bypass the relay till i could come up with a plan.

Eben's right we do stock a similar relay (never seen one like the pick with a fuse) cant remember what they cost but i can check in the morning.
My biggest fear is that my wife sells my cars for what i told her they cost !!

Re: Safety Relay for cars converted to electric fuel pump
Found the one i was thinking of... still the wrong one for a porsche 924 but o well. no one stocks these as far as i know. but the number and placement of pins is correct just not how they are connected and there was some other issue.
