WTF kind of silencer is this???

really clueless, but it is an acvw silencer, its brand new and never been used at all, the rust on it is all surface, what offers???

Yes, I think it's a type 3, otherwise a 1700 type 4.

Type 4 has different manifold flanges.

that what eben said, the flanges resemble that of a type 1 engine.

The flanges actually look like those from a pre-62 engine with stale air heating. Did the very ealry type 3s have stale air heating?

That silencer is for a brazilian type three
It is what I need for my SP2 as they shared the silencers

I believe this was sold already Impi. With a slight modification, its now perfectly fitting on Simon's Squareback.
