Withdrawal symptoms...

Post by Blitzkrieg »

It's been exactly one week that I've last driven the fastback, was parked the whole week due to no legal way of driving it....

I'm nervous, jumpy and can't stop thinking about loooong drives on the highway in an aircooled. Started it up and revved it twice, much to the annoyance of the neighbours...

Took a lady friend out for supper earlier on and she kept on asking me why I'm so nervous and jittery. I mumbled some excuse or the other

Damn. I seriously need a taste of an aircooled in my life again. Permanently.

This aircooled thing is something that's more than a passion, addiction or hobby. It's a religion. It's a way of life and I'm proud to be an Aircooled VW Fanatic/Worshipper 8)

Random thoughts at 1am....

What's preventing you from driving her/him??
Fully now what you mean hey. When I drive my waterpumper I miss the quirkyness of the bug.

I have to drive an air cooled at least once a week
No sense being pessimistic. It wouldn't work anyway.

Waiting for the licence to get sorted, then can make new number plates and drive the car daily...
