fuel gauge

Post by hitlers revenge »

Has anybody used any other fuel gauge or sender unit in there air-coolers (beetles). I am having great difficulty finding the reed switch that fits on the back of the speedometer so as to get my fuel gauge to work. Now I am considering using a complete unit from another make of vehicle. Has anybody used one that fits.
