My two donor buses have finally arrived after months of negotiating and waiting..... :hangloose: :hangloose:
the red one is vrot.
the panel may have a chance...
loads of parts nonetheless !

If dibs 's are in order i would like to have the best one of those "scoops" on the side of the red bus to use as a template please. :wink:
verry cool gauge that !! never seen one in a bus before good find :hangloose:
My biggest fear is that my wife sells my cars for what i told her they cost !!

there is what looks like a brake booster fitted behind the driver's seat.....anyone know familiar with one of these ??

also found an interesting tool box compartment lockable cover ! will post a pic of this later.

You're so lucky.

I've been nagging Kenny Willemse to sell me those buses for +- 2 years now and he consistently told me that they were not for sale, that they belonged to a mate in the UK.

How did you persuade him to sell?

@ VW rules.....He told me the same story for months...then i got hold of the owner in the UK and battled for months to get an answer..then he said "yes" and took months to let Kenny know that it was "ok" to let the buses go......so all in all...months of consistent chasing and following up and calls to the UK and stopping at Kenny's every month whilst in EL on business.....
one thing this game has taught me....is BE PATIENT and keep following up !
