Mods, maybe we could either make the above link a sticky, or move the pics to resource?

Re: A-Frame
Um, careful with that A frame, it might/will damage the front of the car. It will need to be hitched lower than the front suspention in order to not hit the spare wheel well, and i dont know of a lot of ferrari's, lambo's and lotus' with tow bars. You rather need a step down type A frame that has a kink in it so that it can be hooked under the nose and still be put onto a not super car/slammed to the ground golf's tow bar.
The A frame shown is fine for beach buggys but not for beetles!!! unless you make up brackets to replace the bumper mount brackets, then you can easily hook up to those, but rather the front suspension.

From fastest to slowest:
Birkin race car, not much is standard
Lotus Elise 111R, almost everything is standard
'75 SP 1600 with a few mods
B8 A4 Avant tdi, towing made easy

Re: A-Frame
What type of fixings are best to connect to the torsion bars? I was also thinking of making it a stepdown type.
Measure twice CUTonce.
