Perceived value really is in the eye of the beholder. This was definitely one of those "you won't outbid me pardner" moments by two chaps who have more money than brains. I really don't think that this was about the money at all, just an enormous ego trip.

Best of luck to the seller though. Every now and again someone has to win the lotto and he was 'in it' so he 'win it' (sic).

I suppose every Samba owner on earth's selling price just doubled now too. :lol:
