Quick Question

Does any one know what the Rev-limit on a standard type 4 2000 is? and when i say standard I mean solid lifter and 1800 heads and standard cam?

The Kombi 2l Owners manual states:

51.5 kw
4200 rpm max
143 n.m torque
94mm bore x 71mm stroke

It depends on what rotor you have installed. Type 4 engines come with a rev-limiting rotor and the limit is stamped on the bottom of the rotor if I remember correctly. But 4200 is OEM i think.

muderick, in the manual it states:
37kw @4000rpm DIN
45kw @4000rpm SAE

whats the diffrence or meaning of the din and sae?
