This nice pic on the cover won some 'Summer Time' photographic competition in 1972. As you can see, it truly captures the spirit buggying is all about :wink:

Today that ad would have had 1 bobejaan and 4 babes, not four bobejaane and one babe, like it did then---
Remember all the horrible accidents that happened with girls wearing long hair and sitting in the back of buggies with open fanbelts------

Gert, I have the above magazine somewhere, but unfortunately there was nothing inside on buggies, only on the cover. As I said, it was only the cover pic. Below an article (road test) on the South African 'Manx':
