Type 4 - 2L - complete engine, gearbox

Hi, my friend was going do build up his late bus (76). We dropped the engine and gearbox and the bus went off to a guy who were supposed to do the body. The short of it, the f***er sold the bus.

Soooooo, my friend needs to sell the bits that's lying by him to recoup some of his costs. Basically everything that came off with the engine plus the gearbox. He wants R2,500, although he is slightly negotiable. a rough list of what's there;

longblock engine, including manifolds & carbs (PDSIT 34) but no exhaust or heat exchangers
all engine tin
flywheel
clutch
bellhousing
gearbox

The heads are toast. dropped seats, pitted etc., but the rest are in good order. The oil that came out was clean and the engine had no leaks, also a mechanical fuel pump is fitted.

If interested, let me know. I could take a drive out (he lives in Paarl) to bring to mine where I could take pics, as I don't have these at hand.
