73 beetle rebuilt project

Post by allas »

hi guys

i bought my first beetle about two months ago it was not in a bad shape , it had a few rust spots that i wanted to patch but at the end i did a complete respray then changed all the rubbers on the car from windows down to seal between pan and the shell, body now looked nice then the next thing that didnt fit was the old wheels so in cam a set off 15inch tsw mags and tyres then it looked ok for few more days and then the interior according to me didnt fit the part anymore so in we go again new carpets , new roof lining, new door pads , new windows , recovered back seat and fitted honda civic seats in front , next on the list was the engine new gasket set , new carb got one from bratjie , new distrubutor , empi plug wires , new rotor , empi deck lid stand off kit , and a new exhaust next on thw list is new lights all round and drop kitand then my new sunday toy is ready for some driving.
