Carel Verhoef here from Cape Town, I stumbled across this site and I think it is great, great info and some real passion. As kids we grew up in busses, my dad had them all, from the old shapes to the 2.1, 2.5 and then that was it, we all moved out the house. My mom crashed one whilst we were all asleep (that included her) but we survived, luckily at a very low sleepy speed also. VW busses fees like they are part of you and I am therefore very interested in them, I have a look at them each time I see one and we cherish and have a lot of happy memories in and with VW busses.

Not sure you have a bus or not right now, but make your way to Starlight Dinner next to Bellville Velodrome/ Tyger Valley on Saturday 3 December to see some of our rides, then maybe join us in convoy to Tableview for a get together/ braai
