hi guyz just wanted to know if you need to lower compression to turbo charge a 1.8 v8 golf engine & what size turbo can i go for. can you do it without lowering compression?
how reliable will it be?
will i make more power then flowing the head 276 cam and branch?

The engine importers are selling 1.8T engines for around R6k-R8k - might be cheaper to buy one of those and run it.
Budget at least R20k for a Golf turbo engine
Do you have a crossflow or normal 1.8? Shortblock or longblock?
Lots of recipes for turbo 8v's.
