That little Mercedes bus was called "The Flying Dutchman".

The modern new funicular which now ferries visitors up to the old Cape Point lighthouse. It is also called the Flying Dutchman. Named after the legend of a ghostly ship that is reputed to sail around the Point.
Entry to Cape Point now costs R85 for adults :shock: and R30 for kids.
