Never heard of this site before. There is a Fleetline bus (orange) in the gallery. It seems to be parked at Motostars in Cape Town, I may be wrong, but the background looks familiar.
Beautiful bus, I think it was restored by Grandslam a few years ago - the owner lived in Melkbos I think.
My guess - it is an Aussie site

Dick head not an Aussie ?
Im betting UK only because of his links?
Sus at any rate .
He has no idea I found this in his history of the splitscreen section

''Many people call all split windscreen Volkswagen buses Fleetlines. However Fleetline kombi’s are Brazilian split screen buses. The Brazilian split buses were sold in 1975, and discontinued in about mid 1976.
Options available were: the most common seen 15 window kombi (with rear corner windows) panel van, and single cab pickup with a larg over sized load bin." ???

 Well it's ironic that he is not completely incorrect. Perhaps the dude is from South Africa then, it is true that a LOT of people here in ZA refer to split busses as "Fleetlines" - he is spot on with the different options, the Brazilian origins and the years they were manufactured here - i.e 1974-1976.

There is a fleet line front badge for sale on gumtree today - case in point.

This site just smacked of someone looking for a database if buses. There is no such club I know of but it asks you to complete a screening form to join which cover the vehicle you have.

Anyway whoever it is....... Good luck

Hi all,
I started this site about 3 years ago, after being out of the scene for about 10 years and not sure who was doing what, I thought I could get a few splitty owners together. I also found a few buses for sale and asked the sellers if they would like me to put the buses on my site at no charge and to please inform me once they are sold needless to say I have since found out these were sold and I was not contacted. this year I intend to do more with the site, if anyone would like to make use of the site for advice or product or service you offer, drop me a line I am in the web business and optimize sites for Google, so the site is basically to help people that share a common interest, also the bit about fleetlines :D I put on what I had read up about and what I know about them I only have a split pick up that is not German, as for the rest all my buses have been German I have a 58 and a +/- 62 double door. I do not export at all but unfortunately sold my 59 Samba about
10yrs ago and it left SA. oh and I am a local :hangloose: I hope this helps with the posts I have seen.
thanks
oh P.S. Rags to Riches SC Splitty got Bugger`d is my pick up
